Harlan Coben's Missing You (January 1) Based on Coben's 2014 novel, this British adaptation follows Detective Kat Donovan, who discovers her missing fiancé Josh's profile on a dating app - 11 years after his disappearance. American Primeval (January 9) Set in 1857 America, this Western drama follows widow Sara Rowell (Betty Gilpin) protecting her son in the dangerous frontier. They join forces with Isaac (Taylor Kitsch), a man running from his past, and Two Moons (Shawnee Pourier), a Native American teen seeking a new home. Created by Friday Night Lights' Peter Berg, the series explores family bonds against the backdrop of pre-Civil War America.

Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 (January 16) The highly anticipated second season continues the story during the French Revolution of 1792. Richter Belmont teams up with Alucard, Dracula's half-vampire son, to stop the Vampire Messiah Erzsebet Báthory from turning revolutionary France into a vampire kingdom. Building on the success of its first season, this animated series promises more of the stunning animation and compelling storytelling fans expect.

These shows join other anticipated returns including new seasons of The Recruit and The Night Agent, making January 2025 a strong month for Netflix content.
