Complete Guide: How to Make Tea in Rust - Step by Step Tutorial
Tea crafting in Rust provides valuable buffs for survival and resource gathering. Here's a comprehensive guide to brewing effective teas.
First, acquire a Mixing Table from the Bandit Camp (175 scrap) or research its blueprint (75 scrap) and craft it using 200 metal fragments and 100 stone at a Level 1 Workbench.
Collect berries (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, White) from grassy areas and plant their seeds in planter boxes for a sustainable supply. Each berry type creates different tea effects:
- Max Health Tea: Increases maximum health
- Healing Tea: Provides health regeneration
- Ore Tea: Boosts ore gathering
- Wood Tea: Increases wood yield
- Scrap Tea: Enhances scrap collection
- Anti-Rad Tea: Reduces radiation exposure
Teas come in three tiers:
- Basic: Created with berry combinations
- Advanced: Combine 4 Basic teas
- Pure: Combine 4 Advanced teas
To brew tea:
- Place berries in correct sequence on Mixing Table
- Click "Start Mixing"
- Collect finished tea
Key brewing tips:
- Different tea effects stack, but identical ones don't
- Gathering effects last 30 minutes
- Health effects last 20 minutes
- Berry placement order matters
- Store ingredients in boxes under the Mixing Table
The Mixing Table also efficiently crafts Low-Grade Fuel and Gunpowder, requiring less charcoal than traditional methods.
For optimal results, time your tea consumption with activities - drink Ore Tea before mining or Scrap Tea before looting.
