Glen Powell stars in Hulu's upcoming sports comedy series "Chad Powers" as Russ Holiday, a former college quarterback who adopts a new identity to revive his football career after behavioral issues derail his NFL prospects.

The series, co-created by Powell and Michael Waldron, draws inspiration from a 2022 ESPN+ sketch featuring Eli Manning going undercover at Penn State football tryouts. However, the show expands significantly on the original 10-minute concept.

The supporting cast includes Perry Mattfeld (Ricky), Quentin Plair (Coach Byrd), Wynn Everett (Tricia), Frankie A. Rodriguez (Danny), and Steve Zahn (Jake Hudson). The half-hour comedy is scheduled to premiere on Hulu in fall 2025.

The series marks Powell's transition to television following his successful 2024 film appearances in "Twisters" and "Hit Man," demonstrating his versatility across both streaming and theatrical platforms.
