Simple Guide: Setting Up a Kill Bind in TF2

A kill bind in Team Fortress 2 lets you instantly eliminate your character using a keyboard shortcut. This guide shows you how to set it up and use it effectively.

What is a Kill Bind? A kill bind is a custom command that lets you "suicide" your character with a single keypress. It's useful for:

Setting Up Your Kill Bind

  1. Enable Developer Console
  • Open Options → Advanced Settings
